The Parent/ informant has to select the appropriate questionnaire depending on the child’s age.
Respond to each question either ‘YES’ or ‘NO’.
If the results turn out to be ‘refer’ then your child might have a potential risk factor to have hearing loss.

Assessing hearing ability through behavioral measures is the gold standard method.
If the child fails to follow the clinician’s instructions during the hearing assessment, then an appointment will be postponed.
Such event takes a toll on the time and effort of both parents and clinicians.3.
Train your child for hearing assessment by watching the video ‘HOW TO CONDITION CHILD PRIOR TO HEARING ASSESSMENT’.
If you think that the child will respond to the given sound in hearing conditioning, then take an appointment in the nearby speech and hearing clinic for a detailed hearing assessment.
